New CarPC PDF Print E-mail
Written by Evan

With the weather finally warming up and me finding a bit of free time, I finally got my carPC installed again.  It's been out of the car for many months now, since I took the display out long ago to fiberglass it, and then slacked off.  But now it's in, with a completely new PC, greatly improved screen install, new auxiliary audio input adapter, and even a new GPS unit.

My next tasks are taking care of the details - finishing setting up the software the way I want it, cleaning up the wiring a bit, and hopefully working more on my SDC so I can really take full advantage of S3 standby.

Also, I put together a simple little tutorial on how you can easily make some twisted-pair wire out of ribbon cable with nothing but a cordless drill.
